Saved by grace through faith!

Both grace and faith need to be combined for us to be able to see the power of God released in our lives. It is in this combination that we can see the release of the power of God found in the Gospel of Christ.

In Romans 5:1-2 (KJV) Paul states that we have peace with God, by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Grace is accessed by faith. “Access” is really another term for admission. We are admitted into the fullness of the finished works of Jesus by faith. Not faith in ourselves or in what we have done. Not faith in our goodness. No, faith in Jesus; in His grace.

Faith is our response to what God has already done by grace.

Faith is not something we do to get God to respond or move. He already has moved in the form and sacrifice of Jesus. Faith simply believes that the gospel is true! Faith appropriates what God has already done. Wow! We don’t have to beg, plead or cry out to God. No, we only have to trust and believe.

Knowing what He has already done and that it is available to us now allows us to be released into praise, worship and adoration for Him.
